I used Google Maps to figure out the location from which the two photos above were taken. The rooftop of what is now Hotel 1898.
These pictures were taken by David Moles who drove around Europe setting up exhibition displays for his employer during the 1950s. I have pictures of his from Yugoslavia ( Zagreb International Fair), Spain, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and one from Austria.
