After many years of persecution the last few Greek inhabitants were forced to leave in 1923 as a result of the Treaty of Lausanne – which was a peace treaty at the end of the Greco-Turkish war 1919-1922.
This picture was taken on Velvia 50 film around 2000 before I had started submitting images to stock photo agencies.
