Copyspace and verticals

This is Parade Gardens in Bath – my home city. My primary school St John’s was in a building connected to that church you can see. I used to get off the bus very near this point and walk along above Parade Gardens to get to school.

The image was licensed for use on the front cover of a book – the fee was well over $400.

The blue sky provides plenty of room for words ie) copy space for the designer to layout text

This is something worth remembering, make sure to take vertical images, and be sure to leave lots of copy space in some of them.
