No real idea what this is about. It is part of the BBC world coverage in a language that I believe is called Telugu. Google informs me that this language is spoken mainly in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and other parts of southern India. As far as I can gather the story is about school violence between children – presumably my son’s teeth suggest aggression.
I don’t remember what was in our minds when we made this picture – just to make something weird and unusual showing just the bottom half of his face with bared teeth.
It is always interesting to see where images turn up and how they are used.
