Coes shop in Felixstowe, Suffolk, England – before its closure and business relocation elsewhere in the town.
This image was used in the Times to illustrate a story about how Covid had helped independent shops because more people were shopping locally. I understand that Coes does have a shop in Felixstowe but this branch closed quite a few years ago. I took the photo on 8th March 2012 – very nearly 10 years ago – and this is the first time that it has been licensed. Yet another example of how stock is a ‘long game’.
