A few days ago somebody – no idea who – somewhere in the USA spent $1 to download a high res version of one of my pics. I assume that others make do with a sneaky ‘right-click’ and a copyright infringing ( I call it stealing) download of low res teeny tiny versions while nobody is looking.
Now, just imagine if this actually caught on and schools had budgets for images and started to build their own digital asset libraries of high quality copyright cleared resources, and that teachers spent time educating children about copyright and how to behave ethically on the internet. Okay, rant over, and big thanks to that person in USA who may just have planted an acorn and who at least gave me a little boost.

And here is the picture of Old Harry Rocks, the famous chalk headland near Swanage in Dorset, England.
