I have removed a large number of galleries on http://www.geographyphotos.com and moved the images into the Geography Photos Collection – this gallery of 34,700 images contains all the ‘live’ pictures. I have retained just a small number of other galleries as shown on the homepage. These will be updated and rotated as new images are added to the site.
The old gallery listing was proving too cumbersome and time-consuming both to maintain and to browse through. It means that more than ever the search engine is the tool to use to find images. And since key-wording is never absolutely perfect do try a few alternatives, plurals as well as singulars, alternative words, and so on.
