The uncluttered clear blue sky as background works well in isolating the people who appear tiny but animated – some have their hands raised, other their legs clenched together. It looks as though they just at the highest point about to plunge down to the ground. Not being able to see the bottom of the Sky Drop increases the feeling of height and uncertainty and of the imminent ‘fall’ about to happen to those people. The shot captures a moment of suspense literally.
